

Anar Bramo is Azerbaijani-born conductor and violinist from Germany. Since 2021 he is Chief Conductor of the Attendorn Chamber Orchestra , and from June 2024 also a new Chief Conductor of the “SymphonieOrchester des Oberbergischen Kreises Gummersbach” in Germany.
In July 2023 Anar became a finalist and award winner at the BMI Bukarest Conducting Competition, and recently, in July 2024 he received 1 Prize Award at the 5 th Cascais & Oeiras International Competition of Orchestra Conducting in Portugal.
One of the most important moments of his life was in August 2002 when the Comuna di Genova (Italy) brought Paganini's “Sivori” violin to Azerbaijan especially for Anar to play at a concert in Baku. This was a great honor as the Sivori, which is kept in a museum in Genova for the last 180 years, had only been played by 12 violinists since that time.
Anar had a conducting lessons with following famous conductors: E.Wycik, F.Ludwig, U.Windfuhr , M.Huber, J.Klummp, V.Alekseenok, R.Bohn and J.Axelrod . He was also a student of the famous violin professor Boris Kuschnir at the Graz University of Arts, Austria, and received there his Post Graduate Diploma in 2017 .
Anar was born in Baku in 1981 into a musical family. After graduating from the Baku Music Academy in 2002 he went to Germany to continue his studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts with professors M. Mintchev and Nana Yashvili, and at the Cologne University of Music with Professor A. Daskalakis.
Since 2010 Anar serves as assistant Concertmaster of the Südwestfalen Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany He is often invited as a soloist to numerous orchestras and to various festivals worldwide.
Since 2003 Anar has often been invited by Gidon Kremer to play in his chamber orchestra "Kremerata Baltica." He was also invited to play as a soloist at the renowned festival in Lockenhaus founded by Kremer. In 2006 Anar received the "Hector Berlioz" medal from the National Association of Hector Berlioz in Paris.
